Psalm 5:11 – But let all those who put their trust in thee rejoice; let them ever shout for joy... let those also who love thy name be joyful...
Romans 14:17 – For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, Rejoice.
Az-Zukhruf 43:70 – Enter the Garden, you and your wives, to be made glad.
Al-Insan 76:11 – Therefore, Allah has warded off from them the evil of that day, and has made them find brightness and joy.
Note: The only verses in the Qur’an which speak about having joy refer to life in the hereafter.
