If a person becomes an apostate from their own mother religion or decides to change their religion should they be killed?

Hebrews 3:12–13 – 12. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13. But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today, lest any of you be hardened through he deceitfulness of sin.

An-Nisa 4:89 – And if they turn back (to enmity) then seize them and slay them wherever you find them, and choose no friend or helper from among them.
