An-Nisa 4:76-77 – 76. Those who believe fight for the cause of Allah... 77. but when fighting was prescribed for them, behold!... “Our Lord! Why have you ordained fighting for us? If only You would give us respite for a while!” Say:… “The enjoyment of this world is short; and the Hereafter will be better for him who fears Allah.”
At-Tawbah 9:123 – O you who believe, fight those of the unbelievers near you and let them see how harsh you can be. Know that Allah is with the righteous.
