Was Abraham ready to offer up his only legitimate son Isaac as a sacrifice unto God?

Genesis 22:2 & 9-12 – 2. Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering...

As-Saffat 37:100-107 – 102. And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: “O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice you, so look, what think you?” He said, “O my father! Do that which you are commanded... 107. Then We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice.

Note: In the Qur’an it is not apparent which son Abraham was going to sacrifice.
