Does God give some believers the gift of speaking in an unknown tongue or language through the power of the Holy Spirit?

1 Corinthians 14:2 & 5 – 2. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God; for no man understandeth him; however in the spirit he speaketh mysteries... 5. I would that ye all spoke with tongues...

Romans 8:26-27 – 26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Note: In the Qur’an there are no verses about speaking in tongues.
