Is striving and fighting against people of a different faith seen as something that is basically good?

Tebve 9:41 – Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.

Al-'Ankabut 29:6 – And whoever strives only strives for (the benefit of) himself.

As-Saf 61:11 – O you who have believed... strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is better for you if you should know.
